Our NFR FAQ answers the questions fans ask most about streaming, TV channels, dates and start times for the 2026 rodeo.
Last updated:
How can I watch NFR 2026 live?
Stream all 10 nights on Cowboy+ with its annual plan, or watch live on TV through the Cowboy Channel if your cable or satellite provider carries it. The official NFR site names Cowboy+ as the exclusive streaming home of the event.
What channel is the NFR on?
The NFR airs live on the Cowboy Channel. It has been listed on DISH channel 232 and DIRECTV channel 603, but packages vary, so check your provider's lineup before the first night.
What are the dates of the 2026 NFR?
The 2026 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo runs for 10 straight nights, from Thursday, December 3 through Saturday, December 12, 2026, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
What time does the NFR start each night?
Every 2026 performance starts at 5:45 p.m. Pacific, which is 6:45 p.m. Mountain, 7:45 p.m. Central and 8:45 p.m. Eastern.
Can I watch the NFR for free?
We found no official free live stream of the NFR. Be careful with sites and calendar listings that promise one, because many are fake pages that lead to sign-up scams. Free legal options include some Las Vegas viewing parties, if you are in town.
How much does Cowboy+ cost for the NFR?
The annual plan that includes the NFR was most recently listed at $119.99 per year. Cowboy+ has said NFR streaming is not part of the monthly plan. Confirm the current price at checkout, because it can change.
Which devices can I use to watch the NFR?
Cowboy+ lists apps for Apple, Android, Amazon Fire and Roku devices, with up to three devices streaming at once. Install and sign in before the first night to avoid a last-minute problem.
Is the NFR on YouTube TV, Hulu or Pluto TV?
We found no official confirmation that the Cowboy Channel is a standard channel on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV or Pluto TV. Check that service's current channel list before paying for it to watch the NFR.
Can I watch NFR replays?
Yes. The official NFR site says the Cowboy+ annual plan includes on-demand replays as well as all 10 nights live.
Can I watch the NFR outside the United States?
Cowboy+ is the first option to check, but we could not confirm a list of supported countries, so make sure sign-up works where you live before paying. In Canada, the Cowboy Channel has also been reported on some cable plans.
Where is the NFR held?
The NFR is held at the Thomas & Mack Center on the UNLV campus in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has been in Las Vegas since 1985, apart from 2020, when it moved to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
How many contestants compete at the NFR?
The top 15 in each event qualify. The 2026 field has 119 contestants, because Stetson Wright qualified in both saddle bronc riding and bull riding.
Where can I see NFR results?
Our results page lists the round winners for each night, and each round has its own page. The PRCA publishes the official world standings on ProRodeo.com.
When are NFR results posted here?
We add each round's winners after the performance finishes. For official scores and times, check the PRCA and the official NFR site.
Where do I buy NFR tickets?
AXS is the exclusive primary and secondary ticketing partner for the 2026 NFR. Start at the official NFR site's ticket pages to avoid outdated listings.
When did the NFR start?
The first National Finals Rodeo was held in Dallas in 1959. It later moved to Los Angeles and Oklahoma City before arriving in Las Vegas in 1985.
Who won the 2025 NFR world titles?
The 2025 world champions were Stetson Wright (all-around and bull riding), Rocker Steiner (bareback), Tucker Allen (steer wrestling), Andrew Ward and Jake Long (team roping), Statler Wright (saddle bronc), Riley Webb (tie-down) and Kassie Mowry (barrel racing).
Is this the official NFR website?
No. This is an independent fan guide. The official site is nfrexperience.com. We don't host or stream any video, and we aren't affiliated with the NFR, Wrangler, the PRCA or Cowboy+.
